It's of primary importance...

...to participate in one's democracy. Or at least what's left of it.

So today I get to go vote in a presidential primary. woot! And since this is a blog where I get to say what I want but in which I don't intend to get all serious, I'll just say that my candidate is the hottest one on the ticket. *g*

(and yes, I have done my homework and am voting for him for substantial policy reasons, but I tend to save my wonk-y discussions for other places)

We just had our caucuses and I hate those so I didn't go. I wish we did a primary instead. Well, we did have a primary but it didn't count. I'm a Clinton girl myself and proud of it. The voter turnout has been amazing.

kim, isn't it interesting how states become important? seriously, I wish we could update the whole process. seems that your vote only matters if you live in certain states, these days. :(

Renee, I've never been to a caucus. In fact, this was my first time to vote in a primary (been out of the country during others). I'll be happy to support whichever candidate our party ends up with, and it's great that everyone is so energized.

zeek, way to vote! you gotta do it. obamarama. *g*

My big girl voted for the first time last week. She was so excited. We put her I Voted sticker in her baby book.

I'm such a geek.

sula, exactly...I dont know why my state is important now and why was it the ugly stepsister before? Prolly because this is the state the current prez is from? I dont know but after hearing this, it makes me feel like it was a big waste of my time to vote in the past elections....which it prolly was because the person I vote for never never wins in this state!!
