before and after

Wow. So I just got an email from a friend and he sent pictures that were taken this weekend at a holiday party. I've been on this Weight Watcher's journey since March of this year and have had tremendous success, but it wasn't until I was staring back and forth between pictures from last year and from now that it really sunk in. Wow. Um, ch-ch-ch-changes!

Before

After

If I needed an extra kick in the pants to be good this holiday season, I think I just found it. lol.

Wow you look fantastic! My problem with weight loss is that I get frustrated when it's not a quick fix. Duh - I didn't gain all the weight at once, so why do I expect to lose it all at once? Just try to moderate your intake of naughty foods during the holidays and keep up with your exercise. You'll be fine!

I have been sorta offline since yesterday because I went to the airport to pick up my parents. They're staying for 2 weeks (eek) and I will be busy taking them places and whatnot. But it was very sweet to come back and see such nice comments. you all are too kind. Makin' me want to blush and stuff. *draws circle on floor with toe*

WW is pretty cool because it gives you the tools that you can use to take control. Empowerment and stuff. I know I'm a believer now. lol.

zeek, I just reread TSP because I had read it all in a rush when it first came out and felt it needed to be gone back over. loved it even more this time around and hopefully I'll get a chance to write up a proper review soon. simon=flawed and irresistible

um, so I have to put up a new post with the new Richard Armitage that Kristie sent me because it is too beyootiful for words. I'd best go do that now. So I can drift off to sleep with happy thoughts.
